As we commemorate the 30th anniversary of Nelson Mandela's historic presidency, marking the culmination of South Africa's first free and fair election on 10 May 1994, we invite you to join us for the 1st Inaugural Regional ISQOLS Conference: Africa. This conference will celebrate "Well-being and Happiness in a Democratic World" and take place in Johannesburg, South Africa, from 3 – 5 October 2024.
The conference aims to gather the international community of quality-of-life and well-being researchers, practitioners, PhD and Post-Doctoral students, and policymakers from all continents to share and exchange knowledge with researchers from Africa. Attendees will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, forge connections, and explore strategies to advance well-being goals at continental and regional levels. Our diverse agenda will cover a spectrum of subjective well-being topics including equity, sustainability, culture, and leveraging Big Data and machine learning for informed policy-making.
