Ghana’s Healthcare Innovators to Showcase Solutions at Public Demo Day in Accra
Bridge for Billions invites healthcare professionals, investors, policymakers and innovation enthusiasts to meet the entrepreneurs working to improve healthcare in Ghana.
Accra, Ghana | 15 October 2026 — How can entrepreneurship and innovation help address some of Ghana’s most pressing healthcare challenges? On 28 October 2026, the Ghana Social Entrepreneurs in Healthcare Programme will bring together entrepreneurs, healthcare stakeholders, investors and ecosystem partners for a Demo Day in Accra, showcasing emerging solutions designed to strengthen healthcare access, delivery and impact.
Organised by Bridge for Billions, in collaboration with Making More Health, the programme supports entrepreneurs developing innovative solutions to healthcare challenges. After months of structured incubation, individual mentorship and specialised learning, 10 finalists are preparing to present their ventures, share their progress and explore opportunities to bring their solutions to more people.
The Demo Day will take place at Mensvic Hotel, Accra, and will welcome members of the public with an interest in healthcare innovation, social entrepreneurship and the future of Ghana’s health ecosystem.
From entrepreneurial ideas to healthcare solutions
The Ghana Social Entrepreneurs in Healthcare Programme combines practical business incubation with mentorship and sector-specific learning. Throughout the programme, entrepreneurs have worked to strengthen their value propositions, validate their business models, develop financial and growth plans, and understand how their ventures can create sustainable social impact.
The programme focuses on innovations addressing cardio-renal-metabolic (CRM) diseases, including diabetes, obesity, chronic kidney disease, heart failure and stroke. It also encompasses solutions that can improve prevention, early detection, access to care and healthcare delivery, including digital health, community-based interventions and innovations in medical supply chains.
A dedicated Health Systems Sprint complements the incubation journey, helping entrepreneurs deepen their understanding of the healthcare landscape and consider how their ventures can respond to real system needs.
The programme culminates in a series of in-person activities in Accra from 26 to 28 October, designed to connect entrepreneurs with the institutions, professionals and partners who can help them move from promising solutions towards wider adoption and impact.

Three days of learning, connection and innovation
The in-person programme will begin with Immersion Days on 26–27 October, giving participating entrepreneurs the opportunity to engage more closely with Ghana’s healthcare system. Activities include an institutional and facility visit to the Ghana Health Service Learning Center, reflection on the incubation journey, further preparation for pitching and opportunities to explore pathways for collaboration.
The experience will culminate in the Demo Day on 28 October, featuring:
- Entrepreneur pitches: Meet the founders and discover the healthcare challenges their ventures are addressing.
- Healthcare innovation and scaling discussions: Explore what it takes to grow impactful solutions, navigate the healthcare ecosystem and move towards sustainable implementation.
- Business Fair: Connect directly with entrepreneurs, learn about their products and services, and explore potential partnerships.
- Keynote address: Hear from Dr. Bernice Brempong, CEO of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre.
- Networking and collaboration: Exchange ideas with healthcare professionals, institutional stakeholders, investors, funders, mentors and fellow innovators.
The event will provide a platform for entrepreneurs to showcase their progress while creating space for meaningful conversations about the partnerships, resources and opportunities needed to scale healthcare innovation in Ghana.
An invitation to Ghana’s healthcare innovation community
Whether you work in healthcare, lead an investment or innovation initiative, support entrepreneurs, represent a public or private institution, or are simply curious about the future of healthcare in Ghana, the Demo Day offers an opportunity to discover emerging solutions and meet the people working to make them happen.
By bringing entrepreneurs and ecosystem stakeholders together, the event aims to encourage dialogue, strengthen connections and open doors to future collaboration.
“Healthcare innovation is not only about developing new solutions; it is also about ensuring those solutions can reach the people who need them. By connecting entrepreneurs with the wider healthcare ecosystem, we want to help create the conditions for promising ideas to grow into sustainable ventures with meaningful impact." — Bridge for Billions
