Water Institute of South Africa (WISA) Biennial Conference & Exhibition
22nd July 2026 - Cape Town, South Africa

WISA2026 Conference[/button] Water is a fundamental driver of socio-economic development, public health, environmental sustainability, and climate resilience. However, water systems across Southern Africa face a convergence of threats: aging infrastructure, increasing demand, pollution, climate variability, and inequitable access. The theme of the WISA 2026 Conference, “Rethink Amanzi – Securing Our Future,” responds to this urgent context. It calls for a paradigm shift in how water is valued, governed, financed, used, treated, and safeguarded.
The WISA Biennial Conference & Exhibition is one of the largest gatherings where people from all spheres of the water sector get together to share their expertise, knowledge and find probable solutions to our ongoing water challenges.
It is the most beneficial networking event within the water sector, and is a huge marketing opportunity, and stakeholder influencer. A wide range of topics will be covered in multiple parallel sessions and we aim to attract more than 2000 delegates, with representation from national and local government, as well as several international delegations.
