The West Africa Agri Show 2025

Sustainability and technology are reshaping industries worldwide, and agriculture is at the center of this transformation. Africa is uniquely positioned to seize this opportunity, with the potential to become a global leader in agricultural production and innovation over the coming decades.

Agriculture is the backbone of West Africa’s economy, employing about 60% workforce (nearly 290 million people) and contributing about 35% of the region’s GDP (Source: OECD Report: Agriculture, Food and Jobs in West Africa 2019 ). Ghana plays a particularly important role, ranking as the world’s second-largest producer of cocoa and the fourth-largest producer of cassava. The region also grows maize, tomatoes, rice, and many other crops, creating strong opportunities for expansion and innovation.

The West Africa Agri Show is a premier event organized by Azalix Business Media in partnership with the Ghana National Association of Cattle Farmers (GNACAF), and supported by the Ghana Ministry of Food and Agriculture. The exhibition is designed to connect West Africa’s agricultural industry with global markets, showcasing how sustainability and innovation can drive growth across the sector.

The West African Agri Show will take place on 24-25 September 2025 in Accra, Ghana, at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Center. This event will showcase the latest technologies and innovative solutions to stakeholders from across the agricultural industry worldwide. It offers the opportunity to connect, launch new products and forge new business partnerships.
